All I can say is WOW! ... and whew! We had already purchased flooring from another local company, and after waiting 3 months for the flooring to come in we found out it wasn't going to be available at all and cancelled the job. That was probably the best thing that could've happened because then I discovered Carpet Express - right down the road and I never knew they were there! Wished I'd known years ago!! The expert advice I received led me to pick a different floor product altogether and its gorgeous!! Nicky was there meticulously overseeing every step and the installation was top notch - perfection :-) (and I am a very fussy, detail-oriented person!!) We were in need of an area rug for a heavily "traveled" room that is always occupied and adjoined to our kitchen, with an exit to a rear deck. We also have five companion animals living with us, so durability and clean-up was important. With Remnant City in Patchogue having closed, we headed to Carpet Express and were very pleasantly surprised with the offerings. First off, John from Remnant City is now on staff, and a familiar face was welcomed. Tony, our salesman could not have been more accommodating or helpful. After explaining our needs, and believe me we have plenty, Tony directed us to a very durable, but beautiful carpet that would serve our purpose perfectly. Not only did we order an 11' x 15'remnant to be bound and delivered, but there was enough carpet leftover to make a 7' x 9' piece for our kitchen as well. Being in sales myself, I know the value of customer service and Carpet Express provides it without any pressure, good prices, and honest dependable service. What else can you ask for? We just completed a total refurbishment of an 1800 sq ft condo in Moriches. The flooring job was planned with Carpet Express's help prior to closing and went off without a hitch and on time. Changes were made, and tasks added but these were all taken care of professionally and without the feeling of getting anything other than a fair price in spite of that some items were added after the job was started. I have to admit that this our third home flooring job done by this crew. We were lucky enough to have the same mechanics install this most recent job of 1600 feet of vinyl plank flooring which we currently get raves about from our visitors. My wife and I both strongly recommend this company. They know what they are doing and make recommendations based on experience and not on inflating the job. The installers (Eric and Dylan)
were professional, neat, clean and careful. They showed up on time and did a great job. We got a good job at a fair price which is more than I can say for our window and door installers in spite of their claim of Quality.

We recently had a laminate wood floor installed by Carpet Express. They
Gave us a prompt estimate, called when the flooring was in and made an appointment for installation.
Everything went so smoothly. The installation was completed in one day and the floor is beautiful. We needed a custom piece of molding which Nick ordered and is bring installed this week.
I would recommend this store to anyone looking for personal courteous help and superior workmanship . We intend to frequent this establishment whenever we want a home improvement.

We were looking for a special carpet - a Victorian patterned wall- to- wall for a parlor, a hall and a front staircase with a more red than burgundy background. We checked out a low end carpet store on the south shore and a high end store on the north shore. The low end had nothing appropriate, a surly salesman and a surprisingly steep price, while the high end store also did not have exactly what we wanted and an enormously steep price that was twice what they originally estimated.
We found Carpet Express on the web and a friend coincidentally recommended them. We arrived at almost closing on a Saturday night and were met with an enthusiastic, "What can I do to help you?" We explained our needs and were led to a huge inventory of samples. We finally made our selection and were cheerfully given a written quote and the sample to take home for several days. The quote was so good that we upgraded to better carpeting in a pattern we absolutely love. They took a 1/3 deposit to order the carpet, but refused additional payments until the install was complete, even though we were responsible for several delays. The installation was flawless thanks to the hard work of the father and son team, both named Walter.
Our carpet experience was so positive that we've asked them to refinish several of our hard wood floors, and we'll be ordering area rugs shortly.
If you want a beautiful product, a great price, knowledgeable and gracious customer service and a meticulous installation from an honorable American family business, Carpet Express is your answer!!

I have had some issues with the product And with no problem or questions asked they replaced the product happily. It's nice to know that there are businesses that still care about their customers. Carpet Express is the easiest, most professional and courteous company I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. After a flood in one of the rooms in my house Terry and Jimmy contacted a company to come and dry out the room and extract the water from the carpet. When I returned to carpet express to order new padding (it was Tuesday afternoon) they asked if Monday would work for me to come measure the room. I explained that I was pressed for time because I was to host a baby shower in my home that Saturday. You can't even begin to imagine my surprise, not to mention the amount of gratitude I had when I was told that Nick would be at my house in a few minutes and that they would do the install first thing in the morning. The even coordinated with the other company so that their equipment would be removed the padding and carpet be installed and then a cleaning be done. I have never had anyone go so far and beyond my expectations before. The Carpet Express family took a stressful situation and made it painless to deal with. I would recommend them with the highest regards.

Carpet express is great we had our wood floors installed and found out they do much more we had our stairs repaired and refinished and new stair rails customly installed and a new runner to match by there team Eric, Bill and Matt their staff Tony ,Jimmy and Nick were very helpful in choosing the right products for our project Tony personally supervises the workmanship until it's done to perfection I will surely use them again for my next project they are true professionals and the price is right.

I've had many dealings with various carpet sellers over the years, but Carpet Express is by far and away the absolute best there is. From start to finish, CE treated me in a professional and courteous manner. Anthony did not insult my intelligence like other businesses have in the past. He didn't try to push inventory on me. Instead, he educated me about what carpets would suite my lifestyle rather what would be more profitable for him to sell. In short, Anthony was a down to earth guy who knew his business well. I also want to compliment Vinnie and Billy, the installers. Vinnie was my kind of guy. He was 100% meticulous, and his installation was the best I've ever had with a carpet installer. He showed up on the day and time he said he would, and his assistant, Billy, was also a true professional. Again, I couldn't recommend Carpet Express more if I tried. Thanks for a great job men. You're the one I'll be calling the next time I need carpet or linoleum or tile.!-Lou D

Amazing! We needed an estimate quickly and a realtor recommended "Nick" from Carpet Express. I called and they immediately sent over an estimator. He was so nice to talk to and by the way, he was "Nick". I also was able to communicate effectively with Carpet Express with their office through Teresa who was so compassionate (my brother had just passed) and always had a friendly smile in her voice. Her follow-through was uncanny! Everyone at 'Carpet Express was so nice and professional ... They gave us real estimates and options that were 30% lower than anyone elses. And by the way, would you believe, Nick is the owner? I couldn't believe an owner of such a large company today takes such personal interest in their customers. Also,one more thing I learned is that carpet express also does wood flooring. I would without hesitation recommend Carpet Express to everyone for carpet or wood flooring refinishing! They are very knowledgeable and will not steal from you with overpriced jobs! I had to recommend them to my friend in Long Island and she absolutely loves her new carpet also. She also said Carpet Express was about 30% lower than her other estimate. Thank you Carpet Express!!!!!!
